They have strayed from the truth ¹  by saying that the resurrection has already occurred, and they are undermining some people’s faith.

The evening meal ¹  was in progress, and the devil had already put into the heart ²  of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, that he should betray ³  Jesus. ⁴ 

The one who believes in him is not condemned. ¹  The one who does not believe has been condemned ²  already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only ³  Son of God.

Whatever has happened was foreordained, ¹  and what happens to a person ²  was also foreknown. It is useless for him to argue with God about his fate because God is more powerful than he is. ³ 

When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is an isolated place ¹  and it is already very late.

What then? Are we better off? Certainly not, for we have already charged that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin,

And I tell you that Elijah has already come. Yet they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted. In ¹  the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”

Now ¹  a great windstorm ²  developed and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was nearly swamped.

Next, I decided to consider ¹  wisdom, as well as foolish behavior and ideas. ²  For what more can the king’s successor do than what the king ³  has already done?

(His parents said these things because they were afraid of the Jewish religious leaders. ¹  For the Jewish leaders had already agreed that anyone who confessed Jesus ²  to be the Christ ³  would be put out ⁴  of the synagogue. ⁵ 

On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you which is true in him ¹  and in you, because ²  the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. ³ 

but ¹  every spirit that does not confess ²  Jesus ³  is not from God, and this is the spirit ⁴  of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world.

The sovereign Lord says this, the one who gathers the dispersed of Israel: “I will still gather them up.” ¹ 

He answered, ¹  “I told you already and you didn’t listen. ²  Why do you want to hear it ³  again? You people ⁴  don’t want to become his disciples too, do you?”

When they sprout leaves, you see ¹  for yourselves and know that summer is now near.

For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.

“But woe ¹  to you who are rich, for you have received ²  your comfort ³  already.

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to test him, for he knew what he was going to do.) ² 

The officials of Succoth said, “You have not yet overpowered Zebah and Zalmunna. So why should we give ¹  bread to your army?” ² 

Go, eat your food ¹  with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, because God has already approved your works.
