You must make holy garments ¹  for your brother Aaron, for glory and for beauty. ² 

and Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and their feet from it. ¹ 

They made tunics of fine linen – the work of a weaver, for Aaron and for his sons –

So Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,

So Moses and Aaron took these men who had been mentioned specifically by name,

Then Moses and Aaron stood before the tent of meeting.

And to Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

The priests descended from Aaron received thirteen cities and their grazing areas.

You led your people like a flock of sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

He sent his servant Moses, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

O family ¹  of Aaron, trust in the Lord! He is their deliverer ²  and protector. ³ 

Let the family ¹  of Aaron say, “Yes, his loyal love endures!”

O family ¹  of Israel, praise the Lord! O family of Aaron, praise the Lord!

When ¹  Aaron saw this, ²  he built an altar before it, ³  and Aaron made a proclamation ⁴  and said, “Tomorrow will be a feast ⁵  to the Lord.”

¹ “And you, bring near ²  to you your brother Aaron and his sons with him from among the Israelites, so that they may minister as my priests ³  – Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

David gathered together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:

When all the community saw that Aaron was dead, the whole house of Israel mourned for Aaron thirty days.

Hashabiah son of Kemuel led the Levites, Zadok led the descendants of Aaron,

And Moses removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar. So Aaron died there on the top of the mountain. And Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.
