“Go immediately ¹  to Nineveh, that large city, ²  and proclaim to ³  it the message that I tell you.”

Because of his success ¹  he offers sacrifices to his throw net and burns incense to his dragnet; ²  for because of them he has plenty of food, ³  and more than enough to eat. ⁴ 

The Lord responded: ¹  “Write down this message! ²  Record it legibly on tablets, so the one who announces ³  it may read it easily. ⁴ 

The disciples said to him, “Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

Then ¹  Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him. ²  And from Judea,

For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

“The one who is faithful in a very little ¹  is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves ¹  left over by the people who had eaten.

“Lord,” Judas (not Judas Iscariot) ¹  said, ²  “what has happened that you are going to reveal ³  yourself to us and not to the world?”

“But as the time drew near for God to fulfill the promise he had declared to Abraham, ¹  the people increased greatly in number ²  in Egypt,

When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

After they had proclaimed the good news in that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, ¹  to Iconium, ²  and to Antioch. ³ 

For a man named Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines ¹  of Artemis, ²  brought a great deal ³  of business ⁴  to the craftsmen.

Now if their transgression means riches for the world and their defeat means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full restoration ¹  bring?

I do not mean yours but the other person’s. For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience?

For a tent was prepared, the outer one, ¹  which contained ²  the lampstand, the table, and the presentation of the loaves; this ³  is called the holy place.

The Holy Spirit is making clear that the way into the holy place had not yet appeared as long as the old tabernacle ¹  was standing.

And if we put bits into the mouths of horses to get them to obey us, then we guide their entire bodies. ¹ 

Then ¹  another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadem crowns. ² 

He hung the king of Ai on a tree, leaving him exposed until evening. ¹  At sunset Joshua ordered that his corpse be taken down from the tree. ²  They threw it down at the entrance of the city gate and erected over it a large pile of stones (it remains to this very day). ³
