Though all the nations follow their respective gods, ¹  we will follow ²  the Lord our God forever.

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

But the news about him spread even more, ¹  and large crowds were gathering together to hear him ²  and to be healed of their illnesses.

However, the Pharisees ¹  and the experts in religious law ²  rejected God’s purpose ³  for themselves, because they had not been baptized ⁴  by John. ⁵ ) ⁶ 

But I tell you most certainly, ¹  there are some standing here who will not ²  experience ³  death before they see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

But to all who have received him – those who believe in his name ¹  – he has given the right to become God’s children

Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, ¹  they caught sight of Jesus walking on the lake, ²  approaching the boat, and they were frightened.

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away. ¹ 

But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus ¹  himself also went up, not openly but in secret.

However, because Moses gave you the practice of circumcision ¹  (not that it came from Moses, but from the forefathers), you circumcise a male child ²  on the Sabbath.

When they persisted in asking him, he stood up straight ¹  and replied, ²  “Whoever among you is guiltless ³  may be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Now the Jewish religious leaders ¹  refused to believe ²  that he had really been blind and had gained his sight until at last they summoned ³  the parents of the man who had become able to see. ⁴ 

and I am glad ¹  for your sake that I was not there, so that you may believe. ²  But let us go to him.”

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. ¹  But they no longer have any excuse for their sin.

When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

But God raised him up, ¹  having released ²  him from the pains ³  of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in its power. ⁴ 

Now Simon, when he saw that the Spirit ¹  was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, offered them money,

Then Paul and his companions put out to sea ¹  from Paphos ²  and came to Perga ³  in Pamphylia, ⁴  but John ⁵  left them and returned to Jerusalem. ⁶ 

But after the disciples had surrounded him, he got up and went back ¹  into the city. On ²  the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe. ³
