They traded with you choice garments, purple clothes and embroidered work, and multicolored carpets, bound and reinforced with cords; these were among your merchandise.

This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath ¹  into you and you will live.

When the time appointed by the king arrived, ¹  the overseer of the court officials brought them into Nebuchadnezzar’s presence.

You will pick up your images ¹  of Sikkuth, ²  your king, ³  and Kiyyun, ⁴  your star god, which you made for yourselves,

Your bow is ready for action; ¹  you commission your arrows. ²  Selah. You cause flash floods on the earth’s surface. ³ 

“But you are profaning it by saying that the table of the Lord is common and its offerings ¹  despicable.

When the people ¹  there recognized him, they sent word into all the surrounding area, and they brought all their sick to him.

For this reason I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people ¹  who will produce its fruit.

For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’” ¹ 

So ¹  the high priest stood up and said to him, “Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”

For nothing is hidden except to be revealed, ¹  and nothing concealed except to be brought to light.

They came to the house of the synagogue ruler where ¹  he saw noisy confusion and people weeping and wailing loudly. ² 

They ran through that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever he was rumored to be. ¹ 

Then ¹  the high priest stood up before them ²  and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, ¹  for I proclaim to you good news ²  that brings great joy to all the people:

For nothing is hidden ¹  that will not be revealed, ²  and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.

Some of the disciples from Caesarea ¹  came along with us too, and brought us to the house ²  of Mnason of Cyprus, a disciple from the earliest times, ³  with whom we were to stay.
