But the overseer of the court officials renamed them. He gave ¹  Daniel the name Belteshazzar, Hananiah he named Shadrach, Mishael he named Meshach, and Azariah he named Abednego. ² 

But Daniel made up his mind ¹  that he would not defile ²  himself with the royal delicacies or the royal wine. ³  He therefore asked the overseer of the court officials for permission not to defile himself.

In this ¹  vision I saw myself in Susa ²  the citadel, ³  which is located in the province of Elam. In the vision I saw myself at the Ulai Canal. ⁴ 

He will pitch his royal tents between the seas ¹  toward the beautiful holy mountain. But he will come to his end, with no one to help him.

But the Lord struck Pharaoh and his household with severe diseases ¹  because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

He is a father to the fatherless and an advocate for widows. ¹  God rules from his holy palace. ² 

The rules you set down ¹  are completely reliable. ²  Holiness ³  aptly adorns your house, O Lord, forever. ⁴ 

He waters the mountains from the upper rooms of his palace; ¹  the earth is full of the fruit you cause to grow. ² 

So Jeremiah remained confined ¹  in the courtyard of the guardhouse until the day Jerusalem ²  was captured.The following events occurred when Jerusalem ³  was captured. ⁴ 

But the Lord is in his majestic palace. ¹  The whole earth is speechless in his presence!” ² 

Now ¹  while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the high priest’s slave girls ²  came by.
