In my self-confidence I said, “I will never be upended.” ¹ 

For he will never be upended; others will always remember one who is just. ¹ 

He says to himself, ¹  “I will never ²  be upended, because I experience no calamity.” ³ 

I constantly trust in the Lord; ¹  because he is at my right hand, I will not be upended.

For the king trusts ¹  in the Lord, and because of the sovereign Lord’s ²  faithfulness he is not upended. ³ 

He alone is my protector ¹  and deliverer. He is my refuge; ²  I will not be upended. ³ 

He alone is my protector ¹  and deliverer. He is my refuge; ²  I will not be upended. ³ 

He established the earth on its foundations; it will never be upended.

Then ¹  my enemy will say, “I have defeated him!” Then ²  my foes will rejoice because I am upended.

He does not charge interest when he lends his money. ¹  He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent. ²  The one who lives like this ³  will never be upended.

Throw your burden ¹  upon the Lord, and he will sustain you. ²  He will never allow the godly to be upended. ³ 

A song of ascents. ²  Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion; it cannot be upended and will endure forever.

So he made a whip of cords ¹  and drove them all out of the temple courts, ²  with the sheep and the oxen. He scattered the coins of the money changers ³  and overturned their tables.
