“Reconcile yourself ¹  with God, ²  and be at peace ³  with him; in this way your prosperity will be good.

and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. ¹ 

This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission ¹  and becomes unclean by it, ² 

They must keep my charge so that they do not incur sin on account of it ¹  and therefore die ²  because they profane it. I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

or has found something lost and denies it and swears falsely ¹  concerning any one of the things that someone might do to sin ²  –

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.

Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. ¹ 

And ¹  yearn ²  like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, ³  so that by it you may grow up to ⁴  salvation, ⁵ 

Wine ¹  is a mocker ²  and strong drink is a brawler; whoever goes astray by them is not wise. ³ 

One who quarries stones may be injured by them; one who splits logs may be endangered by them.

While they are watching, dig a hole in the wall and carry your belongings out through it.

When a righteous man turns from his godliness and commits iniquity, he will die for it.

When the wicked turns from his sin and does what is just and right, he will live because of it.

as are those of Hamath also, which adjoins Damascus, and Tyre ¹  and Sidon, ²  though they consider themselves to be very wise.

Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

For this reason the Jewish leaders ¹  were trying even harder to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was also calling God his own Father, thus making himself equal with God.

But Jacob said, “Swear an oath to me now.” ¹  So Esau ²  swore an oath to him and sold his birthright ³  to Jacob.

Do not make yourselves detestable by any of the swarming things. ¹  You must not defile yourselves by them and become unclean by them,

“Tell the Israelites, ‘When ¹  a man or a woman commits any sin that people commit, ²  thereby breaking faith ³  with the Lord, and that person is found guilty, ⁴
