Then ¹  Jesus ²  left that place and entered their synagogue. ³ 

So ¹  he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea. ² 

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues ¹  on the Sabbath,

They ¹  love the place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues ² 

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, ¹  and he cried out, ² 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  again, and a man was there who had a withered ⁴  hand.

and the best seats in the synagogues ¹  and the places of honor at banquets.

He ¹  began to teach ²  in their synagogues ³  and was praised ⁴  by all.

When they heard this, all the people ¹  in the synagogue were filled with rage.

Jesus ¹  said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue ²  in Capernaum. ³ 

Beware ¹  of people, because they will hand you over to councils ²  and flog ³  you in their synagogues. ⁴ 

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.

Now ¹  as soon as they left the synagogue, ²  they entered Simon and Andrew’s house, with James and John.

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

Then ¹  one of the synagogue rulers, ²  named Jairus, ³  came up, and when he saw Jesus, ⁴  he fell at his feet.

They came to the house of the synagogue ruler where ¹  he saw noisy confusion and people weeping and wailing loudly. ² 

Now ¹  in the synagogue ²  there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean ³  demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

On ¹  another Sabbath, Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  and was teaching. Now ⁴  a man was there whose right hand was withered. ⁵ 

because he loves our nation, ¹  and even ²  built our synagogue.” ³ 

Woe to you Pharisees! You love the best seats ¹  in the synagogues ²  and elaborate greetings ³  in the marketplaces!
