This woman’s child suffocated ¹  during the night when she rolled ²  on top of him.

so that I ¹  would prefer ²  strangling, ³  and ⁴  death ⁵  more ⁶  than life. ⁷ 

Man puts an end to the darkness; ¹  he searches the farthest recesses for the ore in the deepest darkness. ²
