And the streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing. ¹ 

Do you see ¹  what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? ² 

In their streets they wear sackcloth; on their roofs and in their town squares all of them wail, they fall down weeping.

Should your springs be dispersed ¹  outside, your streams of water in the wide plazas?

He was passing by the street near her corner, making his way ¹  along the road to her house ² 

They howl in the streets because of what happened to the wine; ¹  all joy turns to sorrow; ²  celebrations disappear from the earth. ³

The sluggard says, “There is a lion ¹  outside! I will be killed in the middle of the streets!” ² 

He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

So ¹  they went and found a colt tied at a door, outside in the street, and untied it.

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ ¹
