You furiously stomp on the earth, you angrily trample down the nations.

ל (Lamed) To crush underfoot all the earth’s prisoners, ¹ 

“I have stomped grapes in the winepress all by myself; no one from the nations joined me. I stomped on them ¹  in my anger; I trampled them down in my rage. Their juice splashed on my garments, and stained ²  all my clothes.

Rush forth with ¹  the sickle, for the harvest is ripe! Come, stomp the grapes, ²  for the winepress is full! The vats overflow. Indeed, their evil is great! ³ 

I grind them as fine as the dust of the ground; I crush them and stomp on them like clay ¹  in the streets.
