The sower sows the word.

¹ “For six years ²  you are to sow your land and gather in its produce.

They cultivated ¹  fields, and planted vineyards, which yielded a harvest of fruit. ² 

“Listen! A sower went out to sow. ¹ 

For in this instance the saying is true, ¹  ‘One sows and another reaps.’

“A sower went out to sow ¹  his seed. ²  And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled on, and the wild birds ³  devoured it.

Those who shed tears as they plant will shout for joy when they reap the harvest. ¹ 

Even as I have seen, ¹  those who plow ²  iniquity ³  and those who sow trouble reap the same. ⁴ 

and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously ¹  will also reap generously.

because the person who sows to his own flesh ¹  will reap corruption ²  from the flesh, ³  but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

The one who sows ¹  iniquity will reap trouble, and the rod of his fury ²  will end.

He ¹  told them many things in parables, ²  saying: “Listen! ³  A sower went out to sow. ⁴ 

He ¹  answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.

then let me sow ¹  and let another eat, and let my crops ²  be uprooted.

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

He who watches the wind will not sow, and he who observes the clouds will not reap. ¹ 

And as he sowed, some seeds ¹  fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.
