But as for me, my feet almost slipped; my feet almost slid out from under me. ¹ 

If I say, “My foot is slipping,” your loyal love, O Lord, supports me.

You widen my path; ¹  my feet ²  do not slip.

For calamity, ¹  there is derision (according to the ideas of the fortunate ² ) – a fate ³  for those whose feet slip!
