It scorns the tumult in the town; it does not hear the shouts of a driver. ¹ 

The righteous see their destruction ¹  and rejoice; the innocent mock them scornfully, ²  saying,

But I ¹  am a worm, ²  not a man; ³  people insult me and despise me. ⁴ 

My intercessor is my friend ¹  as my eyes pour out ²  tears to God;

You made us ¹  an object of disdain to our neighbors; those who live on our borders taunt and insult us. ²
