Yes, ¹  sons ²  are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

Then ¹  observers ²  will say, “Yes indeed, the godly are rewarded! ³  Yes indeed, there is a God who judges ⁴  in the earth!”

But as for you, be strong and don’t get discouraged, ¹  for your work will be rewarded.” ² 

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹  those who obey them receive a rich reward. ² 

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

The one who despises instruction ¹  will pay the penalty, ²  but whoever esteems instruction ³  will ⁴  be rewarded. ⁵ 

for you will heap coals of fire on his head, ¹  and the Lord will reward you. ² 

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.

because you know that you will receive your ¹  inheritance ²  from the Lord as the reward. Serve ³  the Lord Christ.

So do not throw away your confidence, because it ¹  has great reward.

Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever ¹  receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

Calamity ¹  pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous. ² 

May the Lord reward your efforts! ¹  May your acts of kindness be repaid fully ²  by the Lord God of Israel, from whom you have sought protection!” ³ 

They repay me evil for good, ¹  and hate for love.

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram! I am your shield ¹  and the one who will reward you in great abundance.” ² 

so that it will not be obvious to others when you are fasting, but only to your Father who is in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

Watch out, so that you do not lose the things we have worked for, ¹  but receive a full reward. ² 

May the Lord repay my accusers in this way, ¹  those who say evil things about ²  me! ³ 

The reward ¹  for humility ²  and fearing the Lord ³  is riches and honor and life.

The Lord repaid ¹  me for my godly deeds; ²  he rewarded ³  my blameless behavior. ⁴
