Obey ¹  with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord ²  and not people,

The mind that acts rashly will possess discernment ¹  and the tongue that stutters will speak with ease and clarity.

For I can testify that they are zealous for God, ¹  but their zeal is not in line with the truth. ² 

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,

For if someone comes and proclaims ¹  another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed, ²  or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received, ³  or a different gospel than the one you accepted, ⁴  you put up with it well enough! ⁵ 

how much more to those who live in houses of clay, ¹  whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed ²  like ³  a moth?

My glory ¹  will always be fresh ²  in me, and my bow ever new in my hand.’

The scorner ¹  seeks wisdom but finds none, ²  but understanding is easy ³  for a discerning person.

Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land where they had been heading.

For since you are so wise, you put up with ¹  fools gladly.

For there is no one here like him who will readily demonstrate his deep concern for you. ¹ 

Whatever you are doing, ¹  work at it with enthusiasm, ²  as to the Lord and not for people, ³ 

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, ¹  we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,

The Lord ¹  gave the people favor ²  in the sight of the Egyptians, and they gave them whatever they wanted, ³  and so they plundered Egypt. ⁴ 

In that the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, the latter stages of this kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile.

As you can verify ¹  for yourself, not more than twelve days ago ²  I went up to Jerusalem ³  to worship.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. ¹  Do not be conceited. ² 

Instead, ¹  be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. ² 

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, ¹  full of mercy and good fruit, ²  impartial, and not hypocritical. ³ 

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept ¹  me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept ²  him.
