He who removes mountains suddenly, ¹  who overturns them in his anger; ² 

On the flinty rock man has set to work ¹  with his hand; he has overturned mountains at their bases. ² 

Therefore, he knows their deeds, he overthrows them ¹  in the night ²  and they are crushed.

A total ruin I will make it! ¹  It will come to an end when the one arrives to whom I have assigned judgment.’ ²

He leads priests away stripped ¹  and overthrows ²  the potentates. ³ 

I will overthrow royal thrones and shatter the might of earthly kingdoms. ¹  I will overthrow chariots and those who ride them, and horses and their riders will fall as people kill one another. ² 

If he holds back the waters, then they dry up; ¹  if he releases them, ²  they destroy ³  the land.

When Gideon arrived, he heard a man telling another man about a dream he had. ¹  The man ²  said, “Look! I had a dream. I saw ³  a stale cake of barley bread rolling into the Midianite camp. It hit a tent so hard it knocked it over and turned it upside down. The tent just collapsed.” ⁴ 

The earth, from which food comes, is overturned below as though by fire; ¹ 

A city is exalted by the blessing provided from ¹  the upright, but it is destroyed by the counsel ²  of the wicked. ³ 

The wicked are overthrown ¹  and perish, ²  but the righteous household ³  will stand.

The household ¹  of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent ²  of the upright will flourish.

Rather you must destroy their altars, smash their images, and cut down their Asherah poles. ¹ 

I will put him in permanent charge of my house and my kingdom; his dynasty will be permanent.”’” ¹ 

They come in as through a wide breach; amid the crash ¹  they come rolling in. ² 

You have brought to an end his splendor, ¹  and have knocked ²  his throne to the ground.
