Dear friends, if God so loved us, then ¹  we also ought to love one another. ² 

But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves. ¹ 

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

Therefore we ¹  ought to support such people, so that we become coworkers in cooperation with the truth. ² 

So because these facts ¹  are indisputable, ²  you must keep quiet ³  and not do anything reckless. ⁴ 

We have come to know love by this: ¹  that Jesus ²  laid down ³  his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment ¹  what you must say.” ² 

for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.

From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. These things should not be so, my brothers and sisters. ¹ 

But there are some Jews from the province of Asia ¹  who should be here before you and bring charges, ²  if they have anything against me.

Pray that I may make it known as I should. ¹ 

The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

You ought to say instead, ¹  “If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that.”

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you too ought to wash one another’s feet.

in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves ¹  in the household of God, because it is ²  the church of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth.

Since all these things are to melt away ¹  in this manner, ²  what sort of people must we ³  be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness, ⁴ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  told them a parable to show them they should always ³  pray and not lose heart. ⁴ 

Of course, ¹  I myself was convinced ²  that it was necessary to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus the Nazarene.

The Jewish leaders ¹  replied, ²  “We have a law, ³  and according to our law he ought to die, because he claimed to be the Son of God!” ⁴ 

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.
