This is the Lord’s work. We consider it amazing! ¹ 

This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?” ¹ 

He does ¹  great and unsearchable ²  things, marvelous things without ³  number; ⁴ 

And,’ says the Lord who rules over all, ‘though such a thing may seem to be difficult in the opinion of the small community of those days, will it also appear difficult to me?’ asks the Lord who rules over all.

Now when they heard this they were stunned, ¹  and they left him and went away.

Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people – an absolutely extraordinary deed. ¹  Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations.” ² 

Tell the nations about his splendor, tell ¹  all the nations about his miraculous deeds!

God thunders with his voice in marvelous ways; ¹  he does great things beyond our understanding. ² 

So ¹  the child’s ²  father ³  and mother were amazed ⁴  at what was said about him.

But Jesus made no further reply, so that Pilate was amazed.

Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed, ¹ 

he does great and unsearchable things, ¹  and wonderful things without number.

The Lord deserves praise ¹  for he demonstrated his amazing faithfulness to me when I was besieged by enemies. ² 

He did amazing things in the sight of their ancestors, in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan. ¹ 

Tell the nations about his splendor! Tell ¹  all the nations about his amazing deeds!

Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed, ¹ 

“As in the days when you departed from the land of Egypt, I will show you ¹  miraculous deeds.” ² 

And the men ¹  were amazed and said, ²  “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” ³ 

And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then ¹  he went around among the villages and taught.

Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all ¹  be born from above.’ ²
