With my knowledge I will speak comprehensively, ¹  and to my Creator I will ascribe righteousness. ² 

The rich and the poor meet together; ¹  the Lord is the creator of them both. ² 

The one who oppresses ¹  the poor insults ²  his Creator, but whoever shows favor ³  to the needy honors him.

for I do not know how to give honorary titles, ¹  if I did, ²  my Creator would quickly do away with me. ³ 

Let Israel rejoice in their Creator! Let the people ¹  of Zion delight in their king! ² 

The one who mocks the poor ¹  insults ²  his Creator; whoever rejoices over disaster will not go unpunished.

“Is ¹  a mortal man ²  righteous ³  before ⁴  God? Or a man pure ⁵  before his Creator? ⁶ 

But no one says, ‘Where is God, my Creator, who gives songs in the night, ¹ 

At that time ¹  men will trust in their creator; ²  they will depend on ³  the Holy One of Israel. ⁴ 

They will all be ashamed and embarrassed; those who fashion idols will all be humiliated. ¹ 

What good ¹  is an idol? Why would a craftsman make it? ²  What good is a metal image that gives misleading oracles? ³  Why would its creator place his trust in it ⁴  and make ⁵  such mute, worthless things?

For your husband is the one who made you – the Lord who commands armies is his name. He is your protector, ¹  the Holy One of Israel. ²  He is called “God of the entire earth.”

Come! Let’s bow down and worship! ¹  Let’s kneel before the Lord, our creator!

Israel has forgotten his Maker and built royal palaces, and Judah has built many fortified cities. But I will send fire on their cities; it will consume their royal citadels.

One who argues with his creator is in grave danger, ¹  one who is like a mere ²  shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter, ³  “What in the world ⁴  are you doing? Your work lacks skill!” ⁵ 

He will take your daughters to be ointment makers, cooks, and bakers.

This is what the Lord says, the Holy One of Israel, ¹  the one who formed him, concerning things to come: ²  “How dare you question me ³  about my children! How dare you tell me what to do with ⁴  the work of my own hands!

The Lord, who is the inheritance ¹  of Jacob’s descendants, ²  is not like them. He is the one who created everything. And the people of Israel are those he claims as his own. ³  He is known as the Lord who rules over all.” ⁴ 

He blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by ¹  the Most High God, Creator ²  of heaven and earth. ³ 

Then I said, “O sovereign Lord! They are saying of me, ‘Does he not simply speak in eloquent figures of speech?’”
