and your children will wander ¹  in the wilderness forty years and suffer for your unfaithfulness, ²  until your dead bodies lie finished ³  in the wilderness.

The punishment ¹  of Ephraim has been decreed; ²  his punishment is being stored up for the future.

And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar? ¹  Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever?

But if someone does not provide for his own, ¹  especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

You must have this tassel so that you may look at it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and obey them and so that you do not follow ¹  after your own heart and your own eyes that lead you to unfaithfulness. ²
