For with great wisdom comes ¹  great frustration; whoever increases his ²  knowledge merely ³  increases his ⁴  heartache.

When the wicked increase, ¹  transgression increases, but the righteous will see ²  their downfall.

May he increase your numbers, yours and your children’s! ¹ 

Take a good look! This is what the wicked are like, ¹  those who always have it so easy and get richer and richer. ² 

And Jesus increased ¹  in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with people.

The ¹  apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” ² 

When someone’s ¹  prosperity ²  increases, those who consume it also increase; so what does its owner ³  gain, except that he gets to see it with his eyes? ⁴ 

Raise me to a position of great honor! ¹  Turn and comfort me! ² 

These who are named above were the leaders of their clans. Their extended families increased greatly in numbers.

and because lawlessness will increase so much, the love of many will grow cold.

He must become more important while I become less important.” ¹ 

Now the law came in ¹  so that the transgression ²  may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,

The waters completely overwhelmed ¹  the earth, and the ark floated ²  on the surface of the waters.

Do not be afraid when a man becomes rich ¹  and his wealth multiplies! ² 

When the wicked gain control, ¹  people ²  hide themselves, ³  but when they perish, ⁴  the righteous increase.

The more the priests increased in numbers, the more they rebelled against me. They have turned ¹  their glorious calling into a shameful disgrace!

I will signal for them and gather them, for I have already redeemed them; then they will become as numerous as they were before.

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹ 

But the word of God ¹  kept on increasing ²  and multiplying.

You have made the nation larger, ¹  O Lord, you have made the nation larger and revealed your splendor, ²  you have extended all the borders of the land.
