This is the reason I was often hindered from coming to you.

But you even break off ¹  piety, ²  and hinder ³  meditation ⁴  before God.

You were running well; who prevented you from obeying ¹  the truth?

Woe to you experts in religious law! You have taken away ¹  the key to knowledge! You did not go in yourselves, and you hindered ²  those who were going in.”

All of them conspired together to move with armed forces ¹  against Jerusalem and to create a disturbance in it.

“I also hereby issue orders as to what you are to do with those elders of the Jews in order to rebuild this temple of God. From the royal treasury, from the taxes of Trans-Euphrates the complete costs are to be given to these men, so that there may be no interruption of the work. ¹ 

She brings him ¹  good and not evil ²  all the days of her life.
