If ¹  I have walked in falsehood, and if ²  my foot has hastened ³  to deceit –

I keep your commands eagerly and without delay. ¹ 

I will hurry off to a place that is safe from the strong wind ¹  and the gale.”

The stingy person ¹  hastens after riches and does not know that poverty will overtake him. ² 

Moab’s destruction is at hand. Disaster will come on it quickly.

The sun rises ¹  and the sun sets; ²  it hurries away ³  to a place from which it rises ⁴  again. ⁵ 

while waiting for and hastening ¹  the coming of the day of God? ²  Because of this day, ³  the heavens will be burned up and ⁴  dissolve, and the celestial bodies ⁵  will melt away in a blaze! ⁶ 

The least of you will multiply into ¹  a thousand; the smallest of you will become a large nation. When the right time comes, I the Lord will quickly do this!” ² 

But you, O Lord, do not remain far away! You are my source of strength! ¹  Hurry and help me! ² 

They come with red cloth ¹  from Egypt, Ethiopia ²  voluntarily offers tribute ³  to God.

A faithful person ¹  will have an abundance of blessings, but the one who hastens ²  to gain riches will not go unpunished.

Your shout made the waters retreat; at the sound of your thunderous voice they hurried off –

for they ¹  are eager ²  to inflict harm, ³  and they hasten ⁴  to shed blood. ⁵ 

So Abraham hurried into the tent and said to Sarah, “Quick! Take ¹  three measures ²  of fine flour, knead it, and make bread.” ³ 

I am oppressed and needy! ¹  O God, hurry to me! ²  You are my helper and my deliverer! O Lord, ³  do not delay!

The Lord’s great day of judgment ¹  is almost here; it is approaching very rapidly! There will be a bitter sound on the Lord’s day of judgment; at that time warriors will cry out in battle. ² 

They say, “Let him hurry, let him act quickly, ¹  so we can see; let the plan of the Holy One of Israel ²  take shape ³  and come to pass, then we will know it!”

The mind that acts rashly will possess discernment ¹  and the tongue that stutters will speak with ease and clarity.

Then Abraham ran to the herd and chose a fine, tender calf, and gave it to a servant, ¹  who quickly prepared it. ² 

The couriers who were riding the royal horses went forth with the king’s edict without delay. ¹  And the law was presented in Susa the citadel as well.
