Here’s how! ¹  With the sharp arrows of warriors, with arrowheads forged over the hot coals. ² 

Set the empty pot on the coals, ¹  until it becomes hot and its copper glows, until its uncleanness melts within it and its rot ²  is consumed.

As I watched, I noticed ¹  a windstorm ²  coming from the north – an enormous cloud, with lightning flashing, ³  such that bright light ⁴  rimmed it and came from ⁵  it like glowing amber ⁶  from the middle of a fire.

I saw an amber glow ¹  like a fire enclosed all around ²  from his waist up. From his waist down I saw something that looked like fire. There was a brilliant light around it,

Smoke ascended from ¹  his nose; ²  fire devoured as it came from his mouth; ³  he hurled down fiery coals. ⁴

As I watched, I noticed ¹  a form that appeared to be a man. ²  From his waist downward was something like fire, ³  and from his waist upward something like a brightness, ⁴  like an amber glow. ⁵ 

His feet were like polished bronze ¹  refined ²  in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar ³  of many waters.

This will bring ¹  healing to your body, ²  and refreshment ³  to your inner self. ⁴ 

Our skin is hot as an oven due to a fever from hunger. ¹
