So they brought the boy ¹  to him. When the spirit saw him, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He ²  fell on the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

wild sea waves, ¹  spewing out the foam of ²  their shame; ³  wayward stars ⁴  for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness ⁵  have been reserved.

when its waves ¹  crash ²  and foam, and the mountains shake ³  before the surging sea. ⁴  (Selah)

It makes the deep boil like a cauldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment, ¹ 

It leaves a glistening wake behind it; one would think the deep had a head of white hair.

A person who has a quick temper ¹  does foolish things, and a person with crafty schemes ²  is hated. ³ 

He altered his behavior in their presence. ¹  Since he was in their power, ²  he pretended to be insane, making marks on the doors of the gate and letting his saliva run down his beard.
