So ¹  they gave him a piece of broiled fish,

Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the stomach of the fish

anything that crawls ¹  on the ground, or any fish in the deep waters of the earth. ² 

the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea and everything that moves through the currents ¹  of the seas.

He turned their water into blood, and killed their fish.

Then the Lord commanded ¹  the fish and it disgorged Jonah on dry land.

Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? ¹ 

Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.

and they picked up the broken pieces and fish that were left over, twelve baskets full.

(2:1) ¹ The Lord sent ²  a huge ³  fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights.

What father among you, if your ¹  son asks for ²  a fish, will give him a snake ³  instead of a fish?

Fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to En-eglaim they will spread nets. They will catch many kinds of fish, like the fish of the Great Sea. ¹ 

Fish ¹  in the Nile will die, the Nile will stink, and the Egyptians will be unable ²  to drink water from the Nile.”’”

Or speak ¹  to the earth ²  and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea declare to you.

They ¹  said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

When they got out on the beach, ¹  they saw a charcoal fire ready ²  with a fish placed on it, and bread.

Jesus said, ¹  “Bring some of the fish you have just now caught.”

I will put hooks in your jaws and stick the fish of your waterways to your scales. I will haul you up from the midst of your waterways, and all the fish of your waterways will stick to your scales.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea that caught all kinds of fish.

When ¹  they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets started to tear. ²
