If you faint ¹  in the day of trouble, ²  your strength is small! ³ 

But Moses said before the Lord, “Since I speak with difficulty, ¹  why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

Your words have supported ¹  those who stumbled, ²  and you have strengthened the knees that gave way. ³ 

His vigorous steps ¹  are restricted, ²  and his own counsel throws him down. ³ 

He brought his people ¹  out enriched ²  with silver and gold; none of his tribes stumbled.

Like a muddied ¹  spring and a polluted ²  well, so is a righteous person who gives way ³  before the wicked.

“I have told you all these things so that you will not fall away. ¹ 

But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves. ¹ 

But Moses replied to ¹  the Lord, “If the Israelites did not listen to me, then ²  how will Pharaoh listen to me, since ³  I speak with difficulty?” ⁴ 

My heart palpitates, ¹  I shake in fear; ²  the twilight I desired has brought me terror.

He will not grow dim or be crushed ¹  before establishing justice on the earth; the coastlands ²  will wait in anticipation for his decrees.” ³ 

People will be fainting from fear ¹  and from the expectation of what is coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ² 

We pray earnestly night and day to see you in person ¹  and make up what may be lacking in your faith.

“‘If your brother ¹  becomes impoverished and is indebted to you, ²  you must support ³  him; he must live ⁴  with you like a foreign resident. ⁵ 

Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long are you going to be paralyzed by indecision? ¹  If the Lord is the true God, ²  then follow him, but if Baal is, follow him!” But the people did not say a word.

“In those times many will oppose ¹  the king of the south. ²  Those who are violent ³  among your own people will rise up in confirmation of ⁴  the vision, but they will falter.
