And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Now this ¹  is the promise that he ²  himself made to ³  us: eternal life. ⁴ 

Now ¹  a certain ruler ²  asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ³ 

so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” ¹ 

eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality,

And this is the testimony: God ¹  has given us eternal life, ²  and this life is in his Son.

who will not receive many times more ¹  in this age ²  – and in the age to come, eternal life.” ³ 

This was according to ¹  the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

teaching about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

For thus an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly provided for you.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  the one who believes ²  has eternal life. ³ 

I give ¹  them eternal life, and they will never perish; ²  no one will snatch ³  them from my hand.

Now ¹  someone came up to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to gain eternal life?”

who will not receive in this age ¹  a hundred times as much – homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, fields, all with persecutions ²  – and in the age to come, eternal life. ³ 

Now ¹  an expert in religious law ²  stood up to test Jesus, ³  saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ⁴ 

The one who reaps receives pay ¹  and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps can rejoice together.

You study the scriptures thoroughly ¹  because you think in them you possess eternal life, ²  and it is these same scriptures ³  that testify about me,

The one who eats ¹  my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. ² 

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.
