So Isaac ¹  held a feast for them and they celebrated. ² 

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they were all drinking from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

As they drank wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

When he drank some of the wine, he got drunk and uncovered himself ¹  inside his tent.

So the prophet went back with him and ate and drank in his house. ¹ 

The ravens would bring him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he would drink from the stream.

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ ¹ 

Then Moses raised his hand, and struck the rock twice with his staff. And water came out abundantly. So the community drank, and their beasts drank too.

For ¹  three days he could not see, and he neither ate nor drank anything. ² 

He gave them portions of the food set before him, ¹  but the portion for Benjamin was five times greater than the portions for any of the others. They drank with Joseph until they all became drunk. ² 

who ate the best of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise and help you; let them be your refuge!

So they brought the gold and silver ¹  vessels that had been confiscated from the temple, the house of God ²  in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, together with his wives and concubines, drank from them.

And after taking the cup and giving thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

King Belshazzar ¹  prepared a great banquet ²  for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in front of ³  them all. ⁴ 

Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and lentil stew; Esau ate and drank, then got up and went out. ¹  So Esau despised his birthright. ² 

butter from the herd and milk from the flock, along with the fat of lambs, rams and goats of Bashan, along with the best of the kernels of wheat; and from the juice of grapes you drank wine.

So he got up and ate and drank. That meal gave him the strength to travel forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

But he did not lay a hand ¹  on the leaders of the Israelites, so they saw God, ²  and they ate and they drank. ³ 

He looked and right there by his head was a cake baking on hot coals and a jug of water. He ate and drank and then slept some more. ¹ 

Surely you’re not greater than our ancestor ¹  Jacob, are you? For he gave us this well and drank from it himself, along with his sons and his livestock.” ²
