All those who were in trouble or owed someone money or were discontented ¹  gathered around ²  him, and he became their leader. He had about four hundred men with him.

And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel. ¹ 

She watches over ¹  the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. ²

See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God, that no one be like a bitter root springing up ¹  and causing trouble, and through him many become defiled.
