Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe ¹  man. You withdraw ²  what you did not deposit ³  and reap what you did not sow.’

“When a person sins and commits a trespass ¹  against the Lord by deceiving his fellow citizen ²  in regard to something held in trust, or a pledge, or something stolen, or by extorting something from his fellow citizen, ³ 

You must place them ¹  in the tent of meeting before the ark of the covenant ²  where I meet with you.

¹ They ²  attacked ³  Aiath, moved through Migron, depositing their supplies at Micmash.

Protect that good thing ¹  entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

when it happens that he sins and he is found guilty, ¹  then he must return whatever he had stolen, or whatever he had extorted, or the thing that he had held in trust, ²  or the lost thing that he had found,

The king ¹  said to him, ‘I will judge you by your own words, ²  you wicked slave! ³  So you knew, did you, that I was a severe ⁴  man, withdrawing what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow?

Then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, ¹  and on my return I would have received my money back with interest! ²

Why then didn’t you put ¹  my money in the bank, ²  so that when I returned I could have collected it with interest?’

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment. ¹ 

O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid ¹  the profane chatter and absurdities ²  of so-called “knowledge.” ³ 

Furthermore let the gold and silver vessels of the temple of God, which Nebuchadnezzar brought from the temple in Jerusalem and carried to Babylon, be returned and brought to their proper place in the temple in Jerusalem. Let them be deposited in the temple of God.’

So Darius the king issued orders, and they searched in the archives ¹  of the treasury which were deposited there in Babylon.

The officials put the scroll in the room of Elishama, the royal secretary, for safekeeping. ¹  Then they went to the court and reported everything ²  to the king. ³ 

The punishment ¹  of Ephraim has been decreed; ²  his punishment is being stored up for the future.
