For it is clear that our Lord is descended from Judah, yet Moses said nothing about priests in connection with that tribe.

¹ The Lord said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your tribe ²  with you must bear the iniquity of the sanctuary, ³  and you and your sons with you must bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

So these men concluded, ¹  “We won’t find any pretext against this man Daniel unless it is ²  in connection with the law of his God.”

Who can really fathom the intensity of your anger? ¹  Your raging fury causes people to fear you. ²

All the descendants of Israel will be vindicated by the Lord and will boast in him. ¹ 

“While doing this very thing, ¹  as I was going ²  to Damascus with authority and complete power ³  from the chief priests,

He made fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in the first set and fifty loops along the edge of the curtain that joined the second set.

Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the Lord: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails, ¹ 

“‘Then he must take up all the fat from the sin offering bull: ¹  the fat covering the entrails ²  and all the fat surrounding the entrails, ³ 

the hangings of the courtyard, ¹  the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard that surrounded the tabernacle and the altar, and their ropes, plus all the service connected with these things. ² 

The four wheels were under the frames and the crossbars of the axles were connected to the stand. Each wheel was two and one-quarter feet ¹  high.

When the queen of Sheba heard about Solomon, ¹  she came to challenge ²  him with difficult questions. ³ 

For ¹  we are in danger of being charged with rioting ²  today, since there is no cause we can give to explain ³  this disorderly gathering.” ⁴ 

Granted! ¹  They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear!
