¹ I was beside myself with joy! ²  There please give me your myrrh, ³  O daughter of my princely people. ⁴ 

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,

When Jesus learned of this, ¹  he said, “You who have such little faith! ²  Why are you arguing ³  among yourselves about having no bread?

When ¹  Jesus learned of this, he said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She ²  has done a good service for me.

Now when Jesus learned of this, he went away from there. Great ¹  crowds ²  followed him, and he healed them all.

But Jesus realized their evil intentions and said, “Hypocrites! Why are you testing me?

Paul and Barnabas ¹  learned about it ²  and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra ³  and Derbe ⁴  and the surrounding region.

You know that everyone in the province of Asia ¹  deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.

When he learned of this, ¹  Jesus said to them, “Why are you arguing ²  about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Have your hearts been hardened?

They say, “How does God know what we do? Is the sovereign one aware of what goes on?” ¹ 

But in those sacrifices ¹  there is a reminder of sins year after year.

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.

Then Jacob woke up ¹  and thought, ²  “Surely the Lord is in this place, but I did not realize it!”

For I am ever aware of your faithfulness, ¹  and your loyalty continually motivates me. ² 

For recognition of the Lord’s sovereign majesty will fill the earth just as the waters fill up the sea. ¹ 

(For he knew that the chief priests had handed him over because of envy.) ¹ 

“If the world hates you, be aware ¹  that it hated me first. ²
