When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

The ¹  disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said, “Then who can be saved?” ² 

They were even more astonished and said ¹  to one another, “Then ²  who can be saved?” ³ 

Then when the proconsul ¹  saw what had happened, he believed, ²  because he was greatly astounded ³  at the teaching about ⁴  the Lord.

The pillars ¹  of the heavens tremble and are amazed at his rebuke. ² 

Look ¹  at me and be appalled; put your hands over your mouths. ² 

“Edom will become an object of horror. All who pass by it will be filled with horror; they will hiss out their scorn because of all the disasters that have happened to it. ¹ 

For ¹  Peter ²  and all who were with him were astonished ³  at the catch of fish that they had taken,

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

Then he went up with them into the boat, and the wind ceased. They were completely astonished,

And all who heard Jesus ¹  were astonished ²  at his understanding and his answers.

Her ¹  parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one ²  what had happened.

Now Peter continued knocking, and when they opened the door ¹  and saw him, they were greatly astonished. ² 

“Something horrible and shocking is going on in the land of Judah:

This temple will become a heap of ruins; ¹  everyone who passes by it will be shocked and will hiss out their scorn, ²  saying, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’

As for this temple, which was once majestic, ¹  everyone who passes by it will be shocked and say, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’

(just as many were horrified by the sight of you) ¹  he was so disfigured ²  he no longer looked like a man; ³ 

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹ 

People were completely astounded and said, “He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

The chief priests and the experts in the law ¹  heard it and they considered how they could assassinate ²  him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed by his teaching.
