The ¹  words of the prophets agree ²  with this, as it is written,

the Spirit and the water and the blood, and these three are in agreement.

Your treaty with death will be dissolved; ¹  your agreement ²  with Sheol will not last. ³  When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by, ⁴  you will be overrun by it. ⁵ 

And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are ¹  the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them ²  and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” ³ 

Then those officials who had gone to the king ¹  came by collusion and found Daniel praying and asking for help before his God.

And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar? ¹  Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever?

Will it make a pact ¹  with you, so you could take it ²  as your slave for life?

For you say, “We have made a treaty with death, with Sheol ¹  we have made an agreement. ²  When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by ³  it will not reach us. For we have made a lie our refuge, we have hidden ourselves in a deceitful word.” ⁴ 

And this is my covenant with them, ¹  when I take away their sins.” ² 

(10:1) ¹  “Because of all of this we are entering into a binding covenant ²  in written form; ³  our leaders, our Levites, and our priests have affixed their names ⁴  on the sealed document.”

Do not deprive each other, except by mutual agreement for a specified time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. ¹  Then resume your relationship, ²  so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

So now, come, let’s make a formal agreement, ¹  you and I, and it will be ²  proof that we have made peace.” ³ 

Laban said, “This pile of stones is a witness of our agreement ¹  today.” That is why it was called Galeed.

That day Joshua drew up an agreement ¹  for the people, and he established rules and regulations ²  for them in Shechem.

You must never forget the agreement I made with you, and you must not worship other gods.

“I made a covenant with ¹  my eyes; how then could I entertain thoughts against a virgin? ² 

He ¹  attacks ²  his friends; ³  he breaks his solemn promises to them. ⁴ 

The Lord said, ¹  “I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have made a promise on oath to David, my servant:

Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish a lasting ¹  covenant with you.

So these supervisors and satraps came by collusion ¹  to the king and said ²  to him, “O King Darius, live forever!
