I know, Lord, that your regulations ¹  are just. You disciplined me because of your faithful devotion to me. ² 

What the righteous say ¹  is like ²  the best ³  silver, but what the wicked think ⁴  is of little value. ⁵ 

When they stumble, they will be granted some help. But many will unite with them deceitfully.

After he fasted forty days and forty nights he was famished. ¹

take my advice ¹  and buy gold from me refined by fire so you can become rich! Buy from me ²  white clothing so you can be clothed and your shameful nakedness ³  will not be exposed, and buy eye salve ⁴  to put on your eyes so you can see!
