If, however, ¹  the priest examines it and ²  there is no white hair in the bright spot, it is not deeper than the skin, ³  and it has faded, then the priest is to quarantine him for seven days. ⁴ 

then the priest is to examine it, and if ¹  the scall has spread on the skin the priest is not to search further for reddish yellow hair. ²  The person ³  is unclean.

He must then put the incense on the fire before the Lord, and the cloud of incense will cover the atonement plate which is above the ark of the testimony, ¹  so that he will not die. ² 

They ¹  said, “Has the Lord only ²  spoken through Moses? Has he not also spoken through us?” ³  And the Lord heard it. ⁴ 

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God who is unbiased and takes no bribe,

If you build a new house, you must construct a guard rail ¹  around your roof to avoid being culpable ²  in the event someone should fall from it.

Absalom would then say, “If only they would make me ¹  a judge in the land! Then everyone who had a judicial complaint ²  could come to me and I would make sure he receives a just settlement.”

King Solomon then swore an oath by the Lord, “May God judge me severely, ¹  if Adonijah does not pay for this request with his life! ² 

The men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, the city has a good location, as our ¹  master can see. But the water is bad and the land doesn’t produce crops.” ² 

So he asked Gehazi, ¹  “What can I do for her?” Gehazi replied, “She has no son, and her husband is old.”

He replied, “No, let the Lord help you. How can I help you? The threshing floor and winepress are empty.” ¹ 

When ¹  I close up the sky ²  so that it doesn’t rain, or command locusts to devour the land’s vegetation, ³  or send a plague among my people,

Would it turn out well if he would examine ¹  you? Or as one deceives ²  a man would you deceive him?

“Why are times not appointed by ¹  the Almighty? ²  Why do those who know him not see his days?
