But the men were afraid when they were brought to Joseph’s house. They said, “We are being brought in because of ¹  the money that was returned in our sacks last time. ²  He wants to capture us, ³  make us slaves, and take ⁴  our donkeys!”

Now the Philistines had captured the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.

who said, ¹  “Let’s take over ²  the pastures of God!”

a lizard ¹  you can catch with the hand, but it gets into the palaces of the king. ²

The ¹  city was filled with the uproar, ²  and the crowd ³  rushed to the theater ⁴  together, ⁵  dragging with them Gaius and Aristarchus, the Macedonians who were Paul’s traveling companions.
