“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea that caught all kinds of fish.

After we had sailed across the open sea ¹  off Cilicia and Pamphylia, ²  we put in ³  at Myra ⁴  in Lycia. ⁵

because in a single hour such great wealth has been destroyed!” ¹  And every ship’s captain, ²  and all who sail along the coast ³  – seamen, and all who ⁴  make their living from the sea, stood a long way off

They will descend from their ships – all who handle the oar, the sailors and all the sea captains – they will stand on the land.

And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep.

As the night was ending, ¹  Jesus came to them walking on the sea. ² 

Then ¹  Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him. ²  And from Judea,

When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea and he was alone on the land.

When they saw him walking on the water ¹  they thought he was a ghost. They ²  cried out,

I will weep for the grapevines of Sibmah just like the town of Jazer weeps over them. ¹  Their branches once spread as far as the Dead Sea. ²  They reached as far as the town of Jazer. ³  The destroyer will ravage her fig, date, ⁴  and grape crops.
