When you sit down to eat with a ruler, consider carefully ¹  what ²  is before you,

Lambs ¹  will graze as if in their pastures, amid the ruins the rich sojourners will graze. ² 

And the men ¹  were amazed and said, ²  “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” ³ 

In the same way, the one who had two gained two more.

The one who eats ¹  my flesh and drinks my blood resides in me, and I in him. ² 

(This happened ¹  to fulfill the word Jesus had spoken when he indicated ²  what kind of death he was going to die. ³ )

Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it, with the aromatic spices, ¹  in strips of linen cloth ²  according to Jewish burial customs. ³ 

In it ¹  were all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles ²  of the earth and wild birds. ³ 

On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through ¹  the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they are.” ² 

I am a debtor ¹  both to the Greeks and to the barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

And in the same way you also should be glad and rejoice together with me.

After God spoke long ago ¹  in various portions ²  and in various ways ³  to our ancestors ⁴  through the prophets,

For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets ¹  what sort of person he was.

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

Rachel ¹  said to her father, “Don’t be angry, ²  my lord. I cannot stand up ³  in your presence because I am having my period.” ⁴  So he searched thoroughly, ⁵  but did not find the idols.

In three more days Pharaoh will reinstate you ¹  and restore you to your office. You will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you did before ²  when you were cupbearer.

This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, ¹  your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. ² 

On the first day there will be a holy convocation, ¹  and on the seventh day there will be a holy convocation for you. You must do no work of any kind ²  on them, only what every person will eat – that alone may be prepared for you.

So Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person ¹  in whom the Lord has put skill ²  and ability ³  to know how ⁴  to do all the work for the service ⁵  of the sanctuary are to do the work ⁶  according to all that the Lord has commanded.”
