Whoever hides her hides the wind ¹  or grasps ²  oil with his right hand. ³ 

Then the Lord said, “This means ¹  destruction will break out from the north on all who live in the land.

An end comes ¹  – the end comes! ²  It has awakened against you ³  – the end is upon you! Look, it is coming! ⁴ 

It will be their portion from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, next to the border of the Levites.

Ephraim has mixed itself like flour ¹  among the nations; Ephraim is like a ruined cake of bread that is scorched on one side. ² 

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is well pleased ¹  to give you the kingdom.

God is spirit, ¹  and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

And I was once alive apart from the law, but with the coming of the commandment sin became alive

The Spirit himself bears witness to ¹  our spirit that we are God’s children.

Am I saying that idols or food sacrificed to them amount to anything?

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image ¹  – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth. ² 

I do not say this because I am seeking a gift. ¹  Rather, I seek the credit that abounds to your account.

The sky ¹  was split apart ²  like a scroll being rolled up, ³  and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

The city’s ¹  wall is made ²  of jasper and the city is pure gold, like transparent glass. ³ 

The land produced vegetation – plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. God saw that it was good.

¹ “The tabernacle itself ²  you are to make with ³  ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet; ⁴  you are to make them with ⁵  cherubim that are the work of an artistic designer.

“Command Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering is to remain on the hearth ¹  on the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar must be kept burning on it. ² 

Indeed, they have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race ¹  has become intermingled with the local residents. Worse still, the leaders and the officials have been at the forefront of all of this!”

Then my anger will be fully vented; I will exhaust my rage on them, and I will be appeased. ¹  Then they will know that I, the Lord, have spoken in my jealousy ²  when I have fully vented my rage against them.
