‘I will give you an eternal dynasty ¹  and establish your throne throughout future generations.’” ²  (Selah)

The rules you set down ¹  are completely reliable. ²  Holiness ³  aptly adorns your house, O Lord, forever. ⁴ 

He established the earth on its foundations; it will never be upended.

You set up a boundary for them that they could not cross, so that they would not cover the earth again. ¹ 

The ropes of the wicked tighten around ¹  me, but I do not forget your law.

You demonstrate your faithfulness to all generations. ¹  You established the earth and it stood firm.

for the Lord will be ¹  the source of your confidence, ²  and he will guard your foot ³  from being caught in a trap. ⁴ 

Make the path for your feet ¹  level, ²  so that ³  all your ways may be established. ⁴ 

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he marked out the horizon ¹  over the face of the deep,

The one who conducts himself ¹  in integrity ²  will live ³  securely, but the one who behaves perversely ⁴  will be found out.

Remember this, so you can be brave! ¹  Think about it, you rebels! ² 

I will establish my covenant with you, and then you will know that I am the Lord.

But those three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell into the furnace ¹  of blazing fire while still securely bound. ² 

And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

And he said to them, “Why are you cowardly? Do you still not have faith?”

But if we say, ‘From people,’ all the people will stone us, because they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹ 

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

But the Lord is faithful, and he ¹  will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
