But as ¹  a mountain falls away and crumbles, ²  and as a rock will be removed from its place,

My zeal ¹  consumes ²  me, for my enemies forget your instructions. ³ 

For they will be like ¹  an elegant ²  garland ³  on ⁴  your head, and like ⁵  pendants ⁶  around ⁷  your neck.

Bind them ¹  on your heart continually; fasten them around your neck.

The sluggard plunges ¹  his hand in the dish; he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth. ² 

She is not ¹  afraid of the snow ²  for her household, for all of her household are clothed with scarlet. ³ 

Let your clothes always be white, and do not spare precious ointment on your head.

So I turned my attention ¹  to the Lord God ²  to implore him by prayer and requests, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. ³

The ¹  armies that are in heaven, dressed in white, clean, fine linen, ²  were following him on white horses.

This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, ¹  your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. ²

He must put on a holy linen tunic, ¹  linen leggings are to cover his body, ²  and he is to wrap himself with a linen sash ³  and wrap his head with a linen turban. ⁴  They are holy garments, so he must bathe ⁵  his body in water and put them on.

So Joab sent to Tekoa and brought from there a wise woman. He told her, “Pretend to be in mourning ¹  and put on garments for mourning. Don’t anoint yourself with oil. Instead, act like a woman who has been mourning for the dead for some time. ²
