In the thirty-sixth year of Asa’s reign, King Baasha of Israel attacked Judah, and he established Ramah as a military outpost to prevent anyone from leaving or entering the land of King Asa of Judah. ¹ 

From the day that I was appointed ¹  governor ²  in the land of Judah, that is, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes – twelve years in all – neither I nor my relatives ³  ate the food allotted to the governor. ⁴ 

But as for the seed sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word and understands. He bears fruit, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.” ¹ 

The side chambers were in three stories, one above the other, thirty in each story. There were offsets in the wall all around to serve as supports for the side chambers, so that the supports were not in the wall of the temple.

He made a colonnade ¹  75 feet ²  long and 45 feet ³  wide. There was a porch in front of this and pillars and a roof in front of the porch. ⁴

In front of the temple he made two pillars which had a combined length ¹  of 52½ feet, ²  with each having a plated capital seven and one-half feet high. ³ 

Then the king gave Ebed Melech the Ethiopian the following order: “Take thirty ¹  men with you from here and go pull the prophet Jeremiah out of the cistern before he dies.”

But ¹  these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”

Those of them who were numbered from the tribe of Manasseh were 32,200.

Those of them who were numbered from the tribe of Benjamin were 35,400.

those of them numbered by their families, by their clans, were 2,630.

These were the families of the Reubenites; and those numbered of them were 43,730. ¹ 

These were those numbered of the Israelites, 601,730. ¹ 

and 32,000 young women who had never had sexual intercourse with a man. ¹ 

The cattle numbered ¹  36,000; the Lord’s tribute was 72.

The donkeys were 30,500, of which the Lord’s tribute was 61.

The people were 16,000, of which the Lord’s tribute was 32 people. ¹ 

there were 337,500 sheep from the portion belonging to the community,

From Naphtali there were 1,000 officers, along with 37,000 men carrying shields and spears.
