Pharaoh got up ¹  in the night, ²  along with all his servants and all Egypt, and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was no house ³  in which there was not someone dead.

When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, ¹  he got up from among the assembly, took a javelin in his hand,

So Abimelech and all his men came up ¹  at night and set an ambush outside Shechem – they divided into ²  four units.

So on that day David arose and fled from Saul. He went to King Achish of Gath.

Then Jonathan son of Saul left and went to David at Horesh. He encouraged him ¹  through God.

So they started toward ¹  the Syrian camp at dusk. When they reached the edge of the Syrian camp, there was no one there.

An adversary ¹  opposed ²  Israel, inciting David to count how many warriors Israel had. ³
