The couriers who were riding the royal horses went forth with the king’s edict without delay. ¹  And the law was presented in Susa the citadel as well.

One runner after another will come to the king of Babylon. One messenger after another will come bringing news. ¹  They will bring news to the king of Babylon that his whole city has been captured. ² 

He measured the porch of the gate as 14 feet, ¹  and its jambs as 3½ feet; ²  the porch of the gate faced inward.

God heard and was angry; he completely rejected Israel.
