let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and make their backs bend continually.” ¹ 

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

where he is now waiting ¹  until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. ² 

Each stand had four bronze wheels with bronze axles and four supports. Under the basin the supports were fashioned on each side with wreaths. ¹
