For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

Now I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a servant ¹  of the church in Cenchrea,

Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the believers ¹  who are with them.

Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.

But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters! ¹ 

But be careful that this liberty of yours does not become a hindrance to the weak.

Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person.

The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up, ¹  but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

All the brothers and sisters ¹  send greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them ¹  by their hypocrisy.

to equip ¹  the saints for the work of ministry, that is, ²  to build up the body of Christ,

So welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him,

In my zeal for God I persecuted the church. According to the righteousness stipulated in the law I was blameless.

For the one who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, ¹  and there are no exceptions. ² 

For I can testify that he has worked hard ¹  for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters ¹  who are in Laodicea and to Nympha and the church that meets in her ²  house. ³ 

As a result you became an example ¹  to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

In this way you will live ¹  a decent life before outsiders and not be in need. ² 

From Paul ¹  and Silvanus and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians ²  in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. ¹
